Gather wrapping paper, tape, scissors, and ribbon
Place the gift in the center of the wrapping paper
Fold the paper over the gift and tape the seams securely
Fold the ends of the paper neatly and tape them closed
Cut a length of ribbon long enough to wrap around the package
Lay the ribbon across the center of the wrapped gift
Turn the gift over and cross the ribbon ends underneath
Bring the ribbon back to the top and tie a tight knot
Tie a bow on top of the knot
Trim the ribbon ends at an angle or into a V shape
Adjust the ribbon and bow so they sit neatly on the package
