Cut a length of ribbon
Wrap the ribbon around the gift
Cross the ribbon ends on top of the gift
Tie a tight knot
Form two loops with the ribbon ends
Cross one loop over the other
Pull one loop through the opening to make a bow
Tighten the bow evenly
Adjust the loops and tails
Trim the ribbon ends at an angle
