Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon or bow
Place the gift in the center of the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it can cover the gift with some overlap
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Pull the opposite side over and tape the seam
Fold the ends into neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps inward
Tape the flaps securely
Repeat on the other end
Add ribbon or a bow if desired
