Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon or a gift tag
Place the book face down on the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it can cover the book with a little overlap
Center the book on the paper
Fold one side of the paper over the book and tape it in place
Pull the opposite side tightly over the book and tape it down
Fold the top and bottom edges inward to form neat triangles
Fold the remaining flaps over the ends of the book and tape them securely
Repeat on the other end
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
