Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon if desired
Place the gift box in the center of the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it covers the box with a little overlap
Fold one side of the paper over the box
Pull the opposite side snugly over and tape it down
Fold the open ends inward to form neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps over the box ends
Tape each flap securely
Repeat on the other end of the box
Smooth the paper and press down any loose edges
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
