Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon if desired
Place the box on the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it covers the box with a little overlap
Center the box on the paper
Bring one side of the paper over the box and tape it down
Pull the opposite side snugly over the box and tape it down
Fold the paper at each end into neat triangular flaps
Fold the top and bottom flaps inward to create clean edges
Tape each end securely
Repeat on the other side of the box
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
