Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbon, and a gift tag
Measure and cut enough paper to cover the gift
Place the gift face down on the paper
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Pull the opposite side over and tape it in place
Fold the ends inward to create neat triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps over and tape them down
Repeat on the other side
Add ribbon or a bow if desired
Attach a gift tag
