Measure the cylinder’s height and circumference
Cut wrapping paper large enough to cover the side and ends
Place the cylinder on the paper and roll it to wrap the side
Fold and tape the paper seam along the side
Fold the top paper inward in small sections
Tape the folded top securely
Repeat the folding process on the bottom
Cut a circle of paper or cardboard for each end if needed
Cover the ends with the circles and tape them in place
Add ribbon, tag, or bow if desired
