Cut a length of ribbon long enough to wrap around the box and form a bow

Place the ribbon under the box and bring both ends up over the top

Cross the ends over each other in the center of the box

Pull the ends tightly to secure the first wrap

Turn the ribbon so the ends run in opposite directions around the box

Bring both ends back to the center on the top

Tie a simple knot

Form one loop with one ribbon end

Wrap the other end around the loop

Pull the second end through to make a bow

Tighten and adjust the loops and tails

Trim the ribbon ends at an angle if desired
