Measure the ribbon around the present
Cut the ribbon with extra length for tying
Place the box in the center of the ribbon
Pull both ends up and cross them over the box
Turn the box over and bring the ribbon ends back to the center
Cross the ribbon again on the bottom
Return the ends to the top
Tie the ribbon into a knot
Form a bow with the ribbon ends
Adjust the loops and tails
Trim the ribbon ends neatly
