Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Clean and oil the grill grates
Prepare pizza dough and toppings
Roll or stretch the dough into a thin round or oval
Brush one side of the dough lightly with oil
Place the oiled side on the grill
Grill until the bottom is firm and lightly charred
Flip the dough with tongs
Quickly add sauce, cheese, and toppings to the grilled side
Close the grill lid
Cook until the cheese melts and the crust is cooked through
Remove the pizza from the grill
Let it rest briefly
Slice and serve
