Find or create a dirt or grass area
Use a water source nearby to hydrate the farmland
Right-click or use the hoe on dirt or grass to turn it into farmland
Plant the wheat seeds on the farmland
Make sure the farmland stays hydrated by keeping water within 4 blocks
Provide light so the wheat can grow at night or underground
Wait for the wheat to grow through all stages
Harvest the fully grown wheat with a tool or by hand
Collect the wheat and more seeds for replanting
