Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment
Pat chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels
Place drumsticks on the baking sheet with space between them
Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter
Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
Optional: add chili powder, dried oregano, or onion powder
Optional: toss with 1–2 tbsp cornstarch for extra crisp skin
Bake for 25 minutes
Flip drumsticks
Bake for 15–20 minutes more, until browned and crisp
Check doneness: internal temperature at the thickest part reaches 165°F (74°C)
Optional broil for 2–4 minutes for extra browning
Rest 5 minutes before serving
Serve with lemon wedges, dipping sauce, or your preferred sides
