How To Clean A Keurig Coffee Machine?

Turn off and unplug the Keurig

Remove the water reservoir, lid, drip tray, and K-Cup holder

Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water

Rinse and dry all removable parts thoroughly

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth

Clean the needle with a paper clip or Keurig cleaning tool

Reassemble the machine

Fill the reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water

Run brew cycles without a K-Cup until the reservoir is empty

Let the machine sit for 30 minutes

Rinse the reservoir and fill it with fresh water

Run multiple plain water brew cycles until the vinegar smell is gone

Clean the drip tray and pod holder again if needed

Replace the water filter if your model uses one

Descale the machine every 3 to 6 months

Clean the machine regularly to prevent buildup
