Soak the glass in warm, soapy water
Scrape gently with a plastic razor blade or plastic scraper
Apply acetone or nail polish remover to a cloth
Rub the glue spot carefully with the acetone-soaked cloth
Let the acetone sit on the glue for a few minutes if needed
Repeat until the glue softens and lifts
Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth
Dry the glass with a lint-free towel
Use a glass cleaner for any remaining residue
Avoid metal blades that can scratch the glass
