Open Snapchat
Swipe right to the Chat screen
Press and hold the chat you want to hide
Tap Chat and Notification Settings
Tap Clear from Chat Feed
Confirm the action
To hide a conversation by deleting it, press and hold the chat
Tap Chat and Notification Settings
Tap Delete Chat
Confirm the action
To mute a chat, press and hold the chat
Tap Chat and Notification Settings
Tap Message Notifications
Select Silent
To hide chats on your device, log out of Snapchat
To protect chats, use Chat and Notification Settings
Tap Delete Chats
Choose After Viewing or 24 Hours After Viewing
