Set up with a slightly closed stance
Aim your body a little right of the target
Aim the clubface at the target or slightly right of it
Position the ball just forward of center in your stance
Grip the club neutrally to slightly strong
Keep your shoulders aligned right of the target
Swing along your body line
Rotate through the shot fully
Feel the club release through impact
Finish with your chest facing the target
Practice starting the ball right and curving it back left
Use a mid-iron first before trying it with longer clubs
Avoid an open clubface at impact
Avoid swinging too far left across the ball
Check that your path is inside-to-out
Maintain balanced posture throughout the swing
