Check the bottom line of the cheque for the MICR numbers
Find the routing number first, usually the first 9 digits on the bottom left
Look for the account number next to the routing number on the bottom line
The account number is usually the middle set of digits on the cheque
Compare the number on the cheque with your BOA online banking account details
Check the cheque book cover or starter cheque slip if the account number is printed there
Call Bank of America customer service if the account number is not clear
Visit a BOA branch with your cheque book and ID for verification
