Open LMMS
Click File
Select Import
Choose MIDI file
Select the .mid or .midi file
Click Open
Wait for LMMS to load the MIDI data
Check the imported tracks in the Song Editor
Adjust instruments if needed
Save the project as an LMMS project file if desired
