How To Initialize SSD?

Connect the SSD to the computer

Open Disk Management on Windows or Disk Utility on macOS

Locate the new SSD in the list of drives

If prompted, initialize the disk

Choose GPT for modern systems or MBR for older systems

Create a new partition or volume

Format the partition with a file system such as NTFS, exFAT, or APFS

Assign a drive letter or mount point if needed

Apply the changes and wait for the process to complete

Verify that the SSD appears as an available drive
