Use Zepbound exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider
Read the full Instructions for Use that come with your pen before injecting
Wash your hands with soap and water
Gather the Zepbound pen, alcohol swab, and a sharps container
Check the label, dose, and expiration date
Inspect the medication and do not use it if it is damaged, cloudy, discolored, or has particles
Choose an injection site on the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm
Avoid injecting into skin that is tender, bruised, scarred, hard, or irritated
Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and let it dry
Remove the pen cap only when you are ready to inject
Place the pen firmly against the skin at the injection site
Follow the pen instructions to unlock and start the injection
Hold the pen in place until the injection is complete
Remove the pen from the skin after the injection is finished
Dispose of the used pen in an FDA-cleared sharps container
Rotate injection sites each week
