Measure the closet opening width and height
Check that the opening is square and the floor is level
Remove old doors, tracks, and hardware if needed
Mark the centerline of the top jamb
Install the top track according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Attach the pivot brackets to the top and bottom jambs
Install the bottom pivot bracket on the floor or jamb
Insert the pivot pins into the door panels
Hang the first door panel on the top and bottom pivots
Connect the second panel using the hinge hardware
Place the guide or roller into the top track
Align the doors so they fold and open smoothly
Adjust the pivot points and rollers as needed
Install the door knob or pull handle
Test the doors for proper operation
Tighten all screws and make final adjustments
