Measure the window width and decide the rod placement
Mark the bracket positions on the wall
Use a level to keep the marks even
Drill pilot holes at the marked spots
Insert wall anchors if needed
Screw the brackets into place
Assemble the curtain rod if required
Slide the curtains onto the rod
Place the rod onto the brackets
Tighten any bracket screws or set screws
Check that the rod is secure and level
Adjust the curtain length and arrangement as needed
