Turn off power at the circuit breaker
Remove the old microwave, if installed
Measure the installation area and confirm fit
Locate wall studs and the wall mounting template
Mark the mounting holes and vent opening
Install the wall mounting bracket
Prepare the cabinet above for the top mounting bolts
Set the microwave on the bracket with help from another person
Secure the microwave to the upper cabinet
Connect the venting system or set to recirculating mode
Plug in the microwave or connect wiring if hardwired
Restore power at the breaker
Test the microwave, light, fan, and door operation
