Plug the Netgear WiFi extender into a power outlet near your router
Wait for the power LED to turn solid green or white
Connect your device to the extender’s default WiFi network
Open a web browser and go to mywifiext.net
Follow the on-screen setup instructions
Select your home WiFi network
Enter your WiFi password
Complete the setup and wait for the extender to reconnect
Move the extender to a location halfway between your router and the weak WiFi area
Plug it in again and wait for the status LED to turn solid
Connect your devices to the extended WiFi network
If needed, use the WPS method by pressing the WPS button on the router
Press the WPS button on the extender within 2 minutes
Wait for the connection LED to confirm setup is complete
