Download the Linux distribution ISO file
Create a bootable USB drive using Rufus, Balena Etcher, or dd
Back up all important data
Insert the bootable USB drive into the computer
Restart the computer
Open the boot menu or BIOS/UEFI settings
Set the USB drive as the first boot device
Save changes and reboot
Select the Linux installation option
Choose language, keyboard layout, and time zone
Connect to the internet if required
Select installation type
Partition the disk or choose automatic partitioning
Choose the target drive for installation
Create user account and password
Start the installation process
Wait for installation to complete
Remove the USB drive when prompted
Reboot into the installed Linux system
Log in to the new Linux installation
Update the system after first boot
