Match the strip type and voltage before joining
Use strip-to-strip connectors for a quick join
Insert both strip ends fully into the connector
Close the connector firmly to secure the contact
Use soldering for a stronger permanent join
Tin the copper pads before soldering
Connect positive to positive and negative to negative
Keep the strip aligned to avoid twisting
Insulate exposed contacts with heat shrink or tape
Test the connection before final installation
Use the correct power supply for the combined strip length
