Crush them with a shoe or other hard object
Vacuum them up and empty the vacuum into a sealed bag
Use sticky bands or traps on trees to catch nymphs and adults
Scrape egg masses into a container of rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer
Remove and destroy egg masses from surfaces
Use insecticidal soap or contact insecticides labeled for spotted lanternfly
Apply systemic insecticides only as directed by a licensed professional or label instructions
Report large infestations to your local agricultural extension or invasive species authority
