Formula: Percentage = (Part ÷ Whole) × 100
To find what percent one number is of another, divide the first number by the second, then multiply by 100

To find the whole from a part and percentage, use: Whole = Part ÷ (Percentage ÷ 100)
To convert a fraction to a percentage, divide numerator by denominator, then multiply by 100
To convert a decimal to a percentage, multiply by 100
To convert a percentage to a decimal, divide by 100
Example: 25 ÷ 100 = 0.25 = 25%
Example: 20 is what percent of 80? (20 ÷ 80) × 100 = 25%
