Push the cork into the bottle with a wooden spoon handle or similar blunt object
Use a shoe to tap the bottle bottom against a wall or sturdy surface until the cork rises enough to pull out
Wrap the bottle neck with a towel and twist it against a firm surface to loosen the cork
Use pliers or a multitool to grip and pull the cork if part of it is exposed
Insert a sturdy screw into the cork, leave some screw head exposed, then pull it out with a claw hammer or pliers
Use a key, knife, or screwdriver to work the cork out slowly by twisting and levering
If the bottle has a synthetic cork, use steady pressure and leverage to remove it more easily
If none of these work, break the seal carefully and strain the wine into another container
