Remove the laces from the shoes
Start with one lace end in each bottom eyelet from the outside in
Make both lace ends even
Cross the lace ends over each other
Thread each end through the next set of eyelets from the outside in
Repeat the cross-and-thread pattern up the shoe
Keep the laces flat and untwisted
Adjust the tightness as you go
Finish at the top eyelets
Tie a knot or bow at the top
Tuck in excess lace if needed
