Put the shoes on and loosen the laces if needed

Cross the left lace over the right lace

Pull both laces tight

Cross the right lace over the left lace

Pull both laces tight

Make a loop with one lace

Wrap the other lace around the loop

Pull the lace through the opening to form a second loop

Pull both loops tight

Adjust the loops and lace tension evenly

Tuck any extra lace into the shoe or tongue if desired
