Visit the official UIDAI website or your mobile operator’s official app/website
Log in with your mobile number and complete OTP verification
Choose the Aadhaar update or mobile number linking option
Enter your Aadhaar number and the mobile number you want to link
Request OTP verification on the registered mobile number if required
Submit the request and note the reference or acknowledgement number
If your Aadhaar is not linked to any mobile number, visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra or enrolment centre for biometric verification
Keep your Aadhaar card and mobile phone ready during the process
Wait for confirmation SMS after the linking request is processed
Contact your mobile operator’s customer care if the online linking option is not available for your number
