Use a precision eyeglass screwdriver
Hold the frame steady on a soft surface
Turn the screw counterclockwise
Apply gentle pressure only
Stop when the screw is loose enough
Remove the screw completely only if needed
Keep the screw in a safe place
Tighten again by turning clockwise if necessary
Use a magnifying glass if the screw is very small
Replace stripped screws with a new eyeglass screw
