Hold wheat in your hand
Find cows in plains, forests, or other grassy biomes
Walk near the cows while holding wheat
Cows will follow you as long as you keep the wheat out
Lead them to a fenced area or pen
Enter the pen and keep the wheat visible
Close the gate or place blocks to trap them inside
Use wheat again to breed them if needed
