Gather a clean plastic bottle, two wooden spoons or dowels, string, scissors or a craft knife, and birdseed
Wash and dry the bottle
Cut two small holes on opposite sides near the bottom of the bottle
Insert a wooden spoon or dowel through the holes
Cut a slightly larger hole above each spoon opening so seed can fall onto the spoon
Fill the bottle with birdseed
Make two holes near the top of the bottle
Thread string through the top holes and tie securely
Hang the feeder from a tree branch, hook, or pole
Refill the feeder as needed
Clean the feeder regularly
