How to Make a Bootable USB in Windows 10?

Insert a USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space

Back up any important files on the USB drive

Download the ISO file for the operating system you want to install

Download and install Rufus on your Windows 10 PC

Open Rufus

Select your USB drive under Device

Click Select and choose the ISO file

Choose the correct Partition scheme

Choose the correct Target system

Leave File system and Cluster size at the default settings unless needed otherwise

Click Start

Confirm any prompts to erase the USB drive

Wait for Rufus to finish creating the bootable USB

Safely eject the USB drive

Restart the computer and boot from the USB drive
