Gather wax, wick, container or mold, double boiler, thermometer, and fragrance or dye if desired
Secure the wick in the center of the container or mold
Melt the wax in a double boiler
Heat the wax to the recommended pouring temperature
Add fragrance or dye if using
Stir gently to combine
Pour the wax into the container or mold
Keep the wick centered while the wax sets
Let the candle cool and harden completely
Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch
Remove the candle from the mold if used
