Do not try to make a cat vomit at home
Contact a veterinarian or pet poison hotline immediately
If the cat ate something dangerous, follow the vet’s instructions right away
Do not give hydrogen peroxide, salt, oil, milk, or any human medication
Do not induce vomiting if the cat is unconscious, having seizures, struggling to breathe, or already vomiting
Keep the cat calm and prevent access to more of the substance
Bring the product label, packaging, or a sample of what was eaten to the vet
If directed by a veterinarian, go to an emergency clinic immediately
