How to Make a Chimichurri Sauce?

1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh oregano, finely chopped, or 2 teaspoons dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1/2 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice, optional

Mix parsley, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

Stir in red wine vinegar and lemon juice, if using

Slowly add olive oil and mix well

Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes before serving

Adjust salt, vinegar, or oil to taste
