Gather colored paper, scissors, glue, and a pencil
Cut the paper into several equal squares or petal shapes
Fold each piece in half or into a petal shape
Round or trim the edges to look like flower petals
Unfold the pieces if needed
Cut a small circle from paper for the flower center
Arrange the petals around the center
Glue the petals to the center one by one
Add a paper stem by rolling a green strip of paper
Glue the stem to the back of the flower
Cut and attach paper leaves to the stem
Let the glue dry completely
