Tap the GIF you want to add
Resize and move the GIF on the screen
Add any other edits or text if needed
Share the Story, Reel, or post
If you want to make a GIF from a video
Use a GIF-making app or website to convert the video into a GIF
Save the GIF to your device
Upload it to Instagram if the format is supported
If Instagram does not support the GIF file directly, upload it as a video instead
