Set Who can see your friends list to Only me
Set Who can look you up using your email address to Friends or Only me
Set Who can look you up using your phone number to Friends or Only me
Set Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile to No
Review your profile information and remove anything you do not want public
Change the audience for old posts to Friends or Only me
Limit past posts if needed
Set story and reel privacy to Friends or Only me
Turn on timeline and tagging review
Set who can post on your timeline to Only me or Friends
Set who can see posts you are tagged in to Friends or Only me
Remove unknown followers or unfollowers if needed
Check your profile as a public viewer to confirm privacy settings
Keep your password strong and enable two-factor authentication
