Gather a shadow box frame, backing board, paper or fabric background, adhesive, scissors, ruler, and your chosen items to display
Remove the back of the frame
Measure the inside dimensions of the shadow box
Cut the background material to fit the backing board
Attach the background material to the backing board
Arrange the items inside the box before gluing
Secure the items to the backing board with adhesive
Add spacers if you need more depth
Place the backing board back into the frame
Close and secure the shadow box
Hang or display the finished shadow box
