Gather solar cells, tabbing wire, bus wire, flux pen, soldering iron, solder, EVA sheet or silicone, backing board, glass or clear acrylic, junction box, diode, frame, and sealant
Arrange the solar cells in the desired panel layout
Connect the cells in series by soldering tabbing wire from the front of one cell to the back of the next
Connect each row with bus wire
Test the voltage output of the connected cells
Place the connected cells onto the backing board
Add the EVA sheet or apply silicone to secure the cells
Attach the junction box to the back of the panel
Install a blocking diode in the junction box
Cover the front with tempered glass or clear acrylic
Seal the edges with weatherproof sealant
Add the frame around the panel
Connect output wires to the junction box
Test the finished panel in sunlight
