Gather cardboard, a pencil, scissors, a push pin, and a small bead or paper clip
Cut a circle from the cardboard
Mark equal sections on the circle
Color or label each section if desired
Make a small hole in the center of the circle
Push the pencil through the center hole
Place the bead or paper clip between the wheel and the pencil if needed for smoother spinning
Secure the wheel so it can rotate freely on the pencil
Spin the wheel by flicking the edge with your finger
Adjust the center hole or support if the wheel does not spin smoothly
