Gather materials: eraser, craft foam, potato, cork, or rubber sheet
Draw your design on paper
Transfer the design onto the stamp material
Cut away the negative spaces with a craft knife or carving tool
Leave the raised parts as the printing surface
Attach the carved piece to a block, bottle cap, or wooden base
Apply ink, paint, or stamp pad to the raised surface
Press the stamp firmly onto paper or fabric
Lift straight up to reveal the print
Clean the stamp after use
Store it in a dry place
