1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 to 4 cups powdered sugar
2 to 4 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Beat the butter until smooth and creamy
Add powdered sugar gradually
Mix in milk or cream a little at a time
Add vanilla extract and salt

Adjust consistency with more sugar or more milk as needed
