Preheat the oven to 350°F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Pour 1 box of cake mix into a mixing bowl
Add 2 large eggs
Add 1/2 cup of vegetable oil or melted butter
Mix until a thick dough forms
Fold in chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts, or other mix-ins if desired
Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls
Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet
Flatten slightly if needed
Bake for 8 to 12 minutes
Remove when edges are set and centers look slightly soft
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes
Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely
