2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute
Slowly whisk in milk until smooth
Cook until slightly thickened
Reduce heat to low
Add shredded cheese gradually, stirring until melted
Stir in salt, garlic powder, and paprika
Serve warm
